Bastien Piano Books

Bastien has created a very popular series of books that help the beginning piano student progress quickly called Bastien Piano Basics. The focus of the Bastien Piano Books is understanding and playing in specific hand positions. Students practice many songs in the C Position, then move on to the G Position, etc. After awhile, students are required to move their hands around to the various hand positions. In each new position, they are exposed to various rhythms and musical terms. They contain cute pictures to provide a more creative music setting.
