Music & Motion is based on the belief that the body – through singing and movement – is the best medium for making music.
- Your child will foster a love for music
- Learn to sing in tune in a nurturing environment
- Learn, apply, and demonstrate the fundamental concepts of music, such as beat, tempo, pitch, dynamics, form, harmony
- Sing & play traditional interactive circular dances
- A Special Showcase Performance will be offered at the end of Session 2, as a culmination of both sessions.
Intro to Music is similar to Music & Motion, designed for the mature student.
- Understand how musicians of all areas use the voice
- Discover music through the ages
Theory & Composition is designed for those students who wish to really delve into the inner workings of music.
- Increase ability to learn by ear
- Re-create any song on the radio
- Write your own music
