Piano Lesson Books – For Beginner Players
When selecting piano lesson books for beginner players it’s important to think of piano music as a language. When starting out with piano you will continually improve upon your musical vocabulary and add additional compositions and technical exercises as you become more advanced.
As you begin to excel in your practice you will notice many improvements from instrumental training on the piano. some of these benefits include increased hand eye coordination, the ability to see the difference between notes while simultaneously playing notes, and the gradual improvement of your fine motor skills. Many people have noticed that piano instruction contributes to a sharper mentally acuity that can increase with each lesson.

Group Lessons
In addition to individual lessons, students will attend group lessons scheduled throughout the year.
In these lessons, your child will have the opportunity to perform before his/her peers in a comfortable setting. Through group activities and games, your child will also be introduced to composers’ lives and music, and review music theory taught during the lesson, compose music, and of course, eat a snack!
Group lessons begin and end on time. If you arrive early, please have your child wait on the porch until his/her designated time. For safety reasons, it’s recommended that your child is picked up promptly. There are no private lessons the weeks that group lessons are scheduled.
Held at the studio, only piano students may attend. Feel free to wait in the parking lot or take advantage of an hour of “free-time.”
Lessons are planned and groups are determined based on your child’s prior knowledge and age. Your child will benefit most from the ear-training, music comprehension, and famous composer activities if in his/her designated group. However, if s/he can’t attend the assigned session, please call to find another suitable group.
